REMOTE VISUAL INSPECTION PROJECT LIST

• SHELL Port Dickson Shutdown, Malaysia 2011 (RVI) May 2011

Remote Visual Inspection on column in Shell Port Dickson (PD), Malaysia. The main objective was to inspect the condition of the column internal surface via camera system and to detect any possible defects. Visual inspection was performed with aid of Explosion Proof camera system. Inspection and reporting was done and given to client.​

• TPSC Tanjung Jati, Jepara, Indonesia Power Plant 2011 (RVI) May 2011

Remote Visual Inspection on pipelines of TPSC Tanjung Jati Power Plant. The main objective was to inspect the weldment condition for their pipeline. The inspection was also performed to cross check the weldment was completed as per isometric drawings. Inspection and reporting was done and given to client.

• PETRONAS Penapisan Terengganu (PTT), Malaysia 2011 (RVI) June 2011

Remote Visual Inspection on column in Petronas Penapisan Terengganu (PPT), Malaysia. The main objective was to inspect the internal condition of the vessel including general surface condition via camera system and to detect any possible defects. Visual inspection was performed with aid of Explosion Proof camera system. The filters/grills were found dented with catalyst penetrating through the grills. Inspection and reporting was done and given to client. Presentation done to operation team including the higher management from Kuala Lumpur office to decide on their further action.

• MODEC Singapore, BP Angola FPSO Welding Inspection 2011 (RVI) June 2014 – July 2014

Remote Visual Inspection was performed on the entire BP Angola FPSO pipelines after assembly. Main objective of the project was to inspect the weldments of all pipelines of the FPSO due to some discrepancies detected by BP representative. Total project duration took about one and a half month until end of project. All inspection was done visually with aid of various type of camera system depending on size of pipe inspected. Every inspection was inspected and witnessed by client's representative for acceptance or rejection of weldment.

• PETRONAS OSC & TCOT, Terengganu, Malaysia 2011(RVI) July 2011

Remote Visual Inspection performed for Petronas Oil Sludge Catcher (OSC) & Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal (TCOT), Terengganu, Malaysia. Inspection done on pressure vessels such as Scrubbers, Air Receivers and etc. for renewal of Certificate of Fitness by Department of Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysia. Visually inspected the conditions of in service assets including weldments and general surface conditions of each vessels with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• Air Products Banting Shutdown 2011 (RVI) September 2011

Remote Visual Inspection on pressure vessels for renewal of Certificate of Fitness by Department of Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysia. Visually inspected the conditions of vessels including weldments and general surface conditions of each vessels with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• PETRONAS OGT, Terengganu, Malaysia (RVI) September 2011

Remote Visual Inspection performed for Petronas Onshore Gas Terminal (OGT), Terengganu, Malaysia. Inspection done on pressure vessels such as Scrubbers, Air Receivers and etc. for renewal of Certificate of Fitness by Department of Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysia. Visually inspected the conditions of in service assets including weldments and general surface conditions of each vessels with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• PETRONAS OGT, Terengganu, Malaysia (RVI) October 2011

Assisting on C-scan corrosion mapping. Ultrasonic Testing with C-Scan performed on pressured vessels and wall thickness report given by inspector to client.

• Emery Oleochemicals, Banting, Malaysia (RVI) November 2011

Remote Visual Inspection on process equipment on site. Objective of inspection was to identify bottom filters are still intact with aid of camera systems. Some tubes, filters were found detached and was informed to client. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• Schlumberger Malaysia in Labuan, Malaysia (RVI) December 2011

Remote Visual Inspection for Schlumberger Malaysia to visually inspect a plastic hose with aid of camera system. The main objective of the inspection was to determine the internal condition of the hose before purchase. Anyhow, the inspection did not detect any anomalies yet the hose did not pass the pressure test. The client concluded that the hose suffered with hairline cracks and could not be detected visually with camera system.

• Huntsman Tioxide Kemaman, Malaysia (RVI) February 2014

Remote Visual Inspection for Huntsman Tioxide chemical processing plant in Kemaman, Malaysia. Main objective of inspection was to visually detect cracks inside revolver tubes as there were production loss during operation due to the suspected cracks. Visual inspection was performed on the unit with aid of camera system. Inspection and reporting was done and given to client for their rectification & repair.

Visually inspected the conditions of in service equipment on site including weldments and general surface conditions of each vessels with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• Malakoff Prai, Penang Shutdown 2014 (RVI) June 2014

Remote Visual Inspection on scheduled assets including heat exchangers, pressured vessels, air receivers and boiler during Malakoff Prai Power Plant Shutdown in 2014 for renewal of Certificate of Fitness by Department of Safety & Health (DOSH), Malaysia. Visually inspected the conditions of in service equipment on site including weldments and general surface conditions of each vessels with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• Air Products Prai, Penang (RVI) June 2014

Remote Visual Inspection on reformer to look for dents and deformation in confined space. Damage was caused by mechanical works and inspection being witnessed by their 3rd party consultant. Visually inspected the conditions of reformer on site including weldments and general surface conditions with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• FMC Nusajaya, Malaysia (RVI) August 2014

Remote Visual Inspection on offshore christmas tree at FMC Nusajaya, Malaysia after assembly. Some concerns on gap of parts inside the equipment was a critical part of the inspection scope. Visually inspected the with aid of various type of camera systems witnessed by client's representative. Worked closely with client's QC team. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• FMC Singapore (RVI) September 2014

• Exxon Mobil Guntong-D Platform (RVI) October 2014

Remote Visual Inspection for Exxon Mobil Guntong-D offshore platform. Inspection was performed on vessel with aid of various type of camera systems. Visually inspected the vessel for any anomalies and to detect cause of pressure drop during operation. Inspection and reporting done for client. Inspection videos and report was reviewed and presented to Exxon Mobil's HQ Inspection team.

• Shell F6 Platform, Malaysia Offshore 2015 (RVI) June 2015

Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) performed for Shell F6 Platform in Miri, Sarawak Malaysia Offshore. The purpose of the inspection was to inspect scrubber vessel visually via aid of camera system. However, due to restricted access of camera system (valve could not be removed and blind during short period of time), limited section was inspected. Inspection and report done for client.

• Airport fuel line pipe (RVI) December 2015

Remote Visual Inspection was performed on a fuel line pipe for a local airport which cannot be named as a discreet information and for security purposes. The crawler/tractor camera system was used for the inspection to detect any defects inside the pipe. Bulging sections of pipe walls were detected along the fuel line pipe due to mechanical damaged by ground settlement. The pipes were pushed downwards and the pilings underneath the pipes damages the pipe and cause it to bulge (deform). Inspection and report was given to client.

• Repsol Bunga Raya-D Platform in 2016 (RVI) November 2016

Remote Visual Inspection for Repsol Bunga Raya D (BR-D) offshore platform. Inspection was performed on all four BR-D caisson legs. Visually inspected the general conditions of the caisson legs with aid of various type of camera systems. Inspection and reporting done for client.

• Venator (previously known as Huntsman Tioxide) Kemaman, Malaysia 2017 (RVI) May 2017

Remote Visual Inspection for Venator (previously known as Huntsman Tioxide) chemical processing plant in Kemaman, Malaysia. Main objective of inspection was to visually detect cracks inside revolver tubes as there were production loss during operation due to the suspected cracks. Visual inspection was performed on the unit with aid of camera system. Inspection and reporting was done and given to client for their rectification & repair.
